Commanding Officer’s Remarks re “Duke of Edinburgh’s Own”

Today is a very proud day for our Regiment. The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa have been honoured to have His Royal Highness Prince Philip as our Colonel in Chief for the last 46 years and are very pleased about this recognition. The men and women of the Camerons have provided exemplary service to Canada throughout our history, currently including commitments to operations in Afghanistan, and our soldiers will continue to serve him proudly into the future.
